Thanks to Perrybond for raising this question and to marc for the clear and useful explanation.

A great help

I'm an 'old' member here - not active since self-publishing novel. Couldn't have got that far without YWO. Got lots of useful crits and 'met' a fabulous editor and wonderful cover designer here too.

And now the site's come up trumps again to help with publicity, with expertise like Marc's freely given.

I'm now a twitterer - and my blog hits have shot up literally (last word used advisedly and deliberately :lol overnight
