Quote: Babylon, Thursday, 3 Sep 2009 13:39Probably me being dim, but won't a five review requirement for the charts and an eight requirement for the Top Ten mean there will books from eleven down with higher marks than those above them? There always have been. In the last seven days of the month there is often a cluster of new high-scoring pieces waiting at Number 11 or 12, because you can't get into the Top Ten for the first time during the last seven days of the month. And anything high-scoring that isn't the opening chapters of a novel or a short story will also stick at Number 11 or 12, because only opening chapters or short stories are eligible for the Top Ten. Plus anything high scoring that hasn't had a reading credit added in the previous seven days. Athene

Or would that be when people upload further chapters?[/quoteThat's right - quite a few people put their later chapters up for review as well as their opening chapters, and the rules say they can't get past the Number 11 slot (although occasionally they do, until Ted spots them, and ushers them back out of the Top Ten again).

More importantly, does this mean my copy of Bufflehead Sisters is going to disappear on account of its path to publication has been retroactively changed? No? Good. Now, about those death squads this new American president is proposing. The changes sound good, Ted. Good luck to everyone.
