I thought these opening chapters were delivered with a remarkably well-measured, and fitting, narrative structure.

You do not spoon-feed the reader, for example concerning the relationships between characters or in the evolution of the plot. It is not, therefore, the easiest of reads, but perhaps all the more satisfying once the elements start to fall into place.

The general theme of a world without men has been explored elsewhere (for example, Doris Lessing's 'The Cleft'), but nonetheless your story is - to this reader - highly imaginative and thought provoking ..."

still in bed, but beginning to feel almost human again - must be that beautiful card help dog, it's amazing what you can do with your paws. All my mutt can do is act as a rather large hot water bottle, but as my husband's avoiding me in case he catches it, it seems i only have the dogs left to turn to.
