The point about the revolutionary's/ writer's dedication to the cause in point 1 is I think an excellent one. To live, breathe, eat, sleep writing - I do it whether it is my intention or even desirable. It's what der yute today call being 'on 24-7'.



I accept the sentiment of the point. It is a condition for being a writer that you have espoused before. But being a writer is more than just the craft of writing. It is observing, absorbing and experiencing. Point 1 is recognition that nothing is safe from a writer.



Precisely so. I absolutely count observation and note taking as part of the process
