Anyone watch this series of 3 documentaries about our relationship to machines and our conceptual and metaphorical thinking about systems? Excellent, really excellent. They're on YouTube

I watched the first one which I found very interesting, but haven't got round to watching the others yet. I'll try and catch up with them.

yes, - I think it was the third one – the explanation of the conflict between the (Wa)tutsi and the (Ba)hutu was absolutely fascinating.

Agreed. Colonialism was always pernicious, but the belgians do consistently appear to have the worst legacy for the countries they left behind by a long chalk. What they did in the Congo was well on the way to genocide, let alone what they ended up setting in motion in Rwanda.
