I'm not being territorial about things, well I am actually, but the beauty of many threads is that they can go in any direction. That no one really owns or controls them. Collectivism (and indirectly collaboration) in action. The 'Lightweight' thread began as a whinge and then flowered into a creative environment for people to express frustration in a literary and inventive manner, rather than just moan. Its supporters made the thread what it was and now it's locked. I believe the strength of that thread (6000+ views, not all of them mine) was precisely that it did not stick to its straitjacket opening, but freewheeled wherever it was taken by each contributor. No abuse. Minimal whingeing. Some creative writing. And now you've locked it?

Alright/ all right, 5715 views rather than 6000+ as previously claimed. Still enough to man the barricades for some answers (please)

'Another Lightweight' locked!

Sure it strayed off subject, which thread on this MB doesn't - Jeez!

By that same logic, then only this thread will soon be open (and any unanswered 'Thank Yous') precisely because it has no topic...

Not impressed.

I think YWO got the hump because the appeal for regional authors got zero response and I had a pop and bumped 'Lightweight' back up over it (after 6 hours free run).

My concern was that the YWO post was in the wrong place, surely it's for 'The Writers' Circle', not 'Dark & Stormy Night'? And for posting the most gentle of flea in their ear (invoking Melvin Bragg...) I get smacked down?

Poor show, pretty poor show

Not random enough for thread drift
