Hi, i may sound a bit dim asking this (please, no comments) But once you have your 8 reviews and you make sure 1 credit is assigned per 7 days, how does the book move up the chart? Is it down to your star rating?

On authonomy.com you get a personal scoring system based on how many people have backed the book etc.

If I have answered my own question then could someone just put me out of my misery

Thank you, thank you.

When you click on the 'view ratings breakdown' link, you'll see how many people have scored 1,2,3,4 and 5. Post again if you can't see this and I (or someone) will explain where it is.

At present you're at 28 in the charts.

Also one more thing,

On the top ten chart system, its say's that i am 28th. But on my page it say's - chart position - pending?

Is this conflicting? Or does is mean that its pending until you reach the top ten in the chart?

Last stupid question now I promise!

Mine has never said anything else - I've always been 'pending', no matter whether I've been in the 20s, teens or top ten. You just have to keep boringly scrolling down, if you need to see where you are.

Okay, well that's good to know.

Thanks so much for your help. What is your book called? I need to get some more reading practice in so would like to review your book as a thanks for your help. Reading other's work is so helpful for self-improvement, i've learnt loads on this site.

Thank you very much, that's kind of you. All feedback much appreciated! If you click on 'view member's books' (or something like that) below 'yellowchair' on the left of this message, you'll get to the book.

I'll take a look at yours, too ... probably be able to do that tomorrow.

Glad you've got so much out of youwriteon. I have, too.

Thanks.

Have you got to the top ten yet and had a review, if so are they any good? eg: constructive enough to help you to develop?

I know you are on the best sellers chart but that is different isnt it?

The bestsellers list is made up of the top five from each month. They transfer from the charts to the bestsellers list.

Reviews are mixed! Depends on the reviewers - as you'll see by looking at other posts on the message board. Everyone has their own opinion - or, in some cases, their own motive.

Thanks so much for the review! I have to go out ... right now, I'm late ... but will review yours tomorrow.

Thanks again.
