Wally, you might have to try the public library - you have those in Ontario, I think? Cos I imagine the book's out of print. Maybe you have good 2nd hand bookstores near by?
If you have any time to read, I really do think you'd like Golding's trilogy. Take care, Lucy

Thank you, Turnip, for a review that's got me buzzing, and letting me see details in my work in a completely new light. Been a while since I've actually looked forward to editing! Your time, effort and insight is greatly appreciated, as is the positive feedback.

Quote: Assignment Robot, Wednesday, 22 Feb 2006 17:26Yes, a truly British website deserves its own 'thank-you' forum where members can be polite to each other over a cup of tea and scones. We'd like to thank members for being so constructive in their reviews and helping others develop their writing. If you'd like like to thank someone, here's the place to do it .. Wheres the place to thank some one?? I, however know a really cool place...fanx.com (www.fanx.com)

Quote: YouWriteOn, Wednesday, 1 Mar 2006 09:26Hi Daisy D Welcome to the site. Thanks for uploading your chapters, I think Roald Dahl also invented a word or two in his time so I think you're fine there. Any queries, please let us know. Ted The word does exist. What I can't say is whether you used it correctly.
