Hi all,

It's been a while since I've been on as I've been hectic with work, but I thought I would share some news, for those who remember commenting on Apocalypse Cow.

It has been shortlisted for the Terry Pratchett First Novel prize with another five books: http://www.terrypratchett.co.uk/index.html

First prize is an advance and publishing contract, final results May 31. I'm still in shock, as I had written it off.

Thanks to everyone who critiqued and made it better. Even if I don't win, I'm very happy and all the shortlisted books will be considered for publication.

Cheers,
Michael.

That's amazing. They must have had thousands of entries, so to be shortlisted is brilliant. Well done!

Hi Michael

That's fantastic news. They've put together a great prize as well with the advance and publishing contract, hopefully the competition will become an annual one too. I wish you every success and keep us posted.
