Google tells me it is led by Dr Penny Sartori/Satori. The point of the hidden symbols was that they could not be perceived from the point of view of the physical body. Awareness of them must prove consciousness can exist outisde of the body. Only thing is, I have no idea if anyone was ever aware of them. Just had a quick look and it appears that none of her OBE-ers identified the symbol. A very quick look. Seven minutes at most. I must conclude that a longer look at the results is required.

Saw the trailer on last week's Guardian website so was under impression it was more imminent than it actually is.

Well, its only half way through a three year project. I think they need 4 hits out of 1500 expected cases globally in the participating hospitals. Give us a heads up on where you found the data, I can only find media reports about the project.

OK, I have had a bit of a trawl and I think you must be referring to Dr Sartori's earlier paper of 2006 rather than the Human Consciousness Project started in 2008.
