There is something awful about those threads that die, and leave the last respondent's user name attached to a caption such as:

Struggling with writer's block.

As we all know sulcus would probably benefit from a spot of the old block, but even so I have decided to take upon myself some of his pain, and sit here for the next month leading people to believe what is not true.

Surely that is what a writer does?
