I recently had interest from an agent in New York who loved my opening few chapters. However, when he read the whole manuscript he suggested some serious re-writes - all plot-related. He felt that the storyline didn't follow on well from the opening chapters and I did agree with him on the whole. I came up with a new plot plan which I like, and which incorporated his suggestions, but he now seems to have gone a bit cold on me!

So my current dilemma is whether to go with my original storyline, or re-write with the new one!? I like both so it's hard to put my heart into re-writing...and I can't decide which one to go for.

My question is: can I post 2 synopses on here for feedback - my original storyline and the new one? Or are only opening chapters allowed? It would be quite an easy review for people - which one do you like best and why, with no feedback on writing style because it's plot only!

If you wish, feel free to send them to me by e-mail (address on my site). Sounds like a very interesting 'assignment' - I get to pretend to be a publisher. I'm sure you'll get a lot of feedback on this. Best, Jack

Put 'em both up.
We all want to vote on them.
I suggest you'll get loads of quick free will reviews if you state you're just after a plot preference.

Don't spend your credits on them though. I put up a mid chapter and specifically asked for a pov review.
I got a general review that wasn't too good because he didn't understand the plot.

Thank you both so much! I will post both synopses in the next few days. I will of course return all free wills - I like doing plot plan reads myself too!

Update on this: I have now posted 2 synopses (synopsises? synopsi?) on my page. The two combined total over 5,000 words so I will return any free will reviews with a free will of your choice
