Stieg Larsson's partner plans to complete final Millennium novel

Eva Gabrielsson, late author's partner, says the pair 'often wrote together' and she will finish the hugely successful crime series

Stieg Larsson's partner Eva Gabrielsson plans to finish the fourth novel he left uncompleted on his death. According to early details culled from Gabrielsson's memoir of her life with Larsson, Millennium, Stieg and Me, which is set for publication in France and Scandinavia next week, Larsson had written 200 pages of a fourth novel in his internationally successful Millennium series before he died. Gabrielsson wants to complete it because, she says, "Stieg and I often wrote together". View Guardian article

Good for her. I hope she makes it. Newspaper reports say his relatives cut her out of everything. That's greed. Especially when Eva and Stieg were partners.

Go write, lady. I'll buy your book. Loved the others. Read the series twice. Keep your head down and write.

I'm sorry Mr Larsson is dead. Even if it wasn't a wicked conspiracy but too much good food, etc.

However, he really was a crap writer. If he hadn't been dead and beatified, the publishers would have cut 90 per cent of his awful books away and left something maybe as good as Karin Fossum, Jo Nesbo, Arnuldur Indri?asson or the unpronouncable Icelander who writes about Thora. De mortuis nihil nisi bonum.

Publish the incomplete MS as is, and let people Drood it, that's what I say.
