Try battering and then frying it Perry! That should render it inedible.
You have my absolute sympathy. My son managed to download a virus onto my PC which infected my entire hotmail contacts list. It sent everyone a rather interesting video! He was not a popular boy. I had to have the whole thing rebuilt. Have you tried resetting your machine to an earlier date? that might cure it without interfering with your work.

Thanks, carola, but I was referring to the spam on here. I have drastically reduced spam received personally by the Rapport and Norton systems (particularly the identity protection app of the latter) and predominantly by leaving Facebook in 2009. Its value is rocketing not by free usage, but by the data-mining it provides to its sponsors. Any user is automatically vulnerable, especially if not careful with security options - which are all but negated if they then involve themselves in such apps as cyber farming, beer-chugging etc. Even the charity-based apps open you to this.
In two years my spam on the email account has reduced to a handful a week.

Sorry Perry, you have completely lost me.
I'm a technophobic (is that a word?) I've seen several of your references to spam - but since the Birkin Handbags episode haven't experieced any.

The previous ten posts on this forum are spam, Carola.

Interesting info about Facebook, Perry. Glad I've never joined.

Still have an inch or so of snow, all impacted and icy where the top has melted and frozen over again. Lovely if you want to travel quickly on your backside. Not so good if you like to stay on your feet.

It's all melted here, the dogs have been paddling around in what's left in our lane.
Tonight it will freeze - Black ice - now there's a treat in store for walkies in the morning! At least my backside is amply padded!
