I've only looked at the reviews, but the comments in the second one about infodumps and viewpoints are important, and specific. You could have a look at those while you're thinking about the rest.

Thanks Robert and Tempy for your advice.
I was also wondering how many more reviews I need to get before I consider rewriting my novel.

Also when I do rewrite it does it need to be posted as a new novel separately? Otherwise if I edited what is already there and left the current reviews people would wonder what was going on? I am also considering changing the title as it obviously doesnt fit correctly with the novel.
Thanks
Natasha, don't worry about posting it separately - it's entirely up to you. Lots of people have different drafts of their books up here. If you don't assign any credits for a month, it disappears from the chart until you choose to assign another credit and receive a review.

I looked through your reviews and some of them are rather lazy, unfortunately, with the clear exception of erict who has given some very useful advice.

If I were you, I'd focus on rewriting the opening chapters. Keep uploading new versions until you get positive feedback, then, with your newly found confidence you can start working on the rest of the book. It's a long journey but worth taking. Best of luck.

Everyone handles this differently. I tend to revise the section I post every time I get some helpful criticism, others leave it a while then do a major rewrite. Do whatever comes natural to you.

Well, had to believe its been 3 months since I started this topic, and after many reviews I've started rewritting my novel with a deadline in mind. All that was written before, someof which is on here, are more like, how can I put it, figures that need removing of offal and fresh meat to put to its bones.

And with that, many thanks to those who have read my work. Re-writes will be here in good time.
