If you happen to get a full set of 5 x all 5 scores you would be very lucky indeed, but it happens. I currently have a 4.3 on a short and it's at 18. I had a 4.3 on a novel and it was at no 2. It really does depend on what's about at the time and how highly rated it is. There is only a very small margin in what's at no 13 and what's at number 18. Hope this helps. I'm sure others will come along with more info soon.

thank you very much. After a review today, I seem to have 4.48, although it shows as 4.1.
I guess it will be updated tomorrow.

Just realised I have another book on the same 4.48 rating and that is at number 15.
Clearly the top ten requires more juice.

Only a squeeze more juice - 4.6 got me to no 4, which shows how tiny the difference is within the top twenty. Luck also plays a big part!

Due to what is either random data variability or periodic grade inflation what it takes varies a bit from month to month. For what it's worth, I had two novel excerpts win (multiple) crits last year, and one finished with a 4.42 overall and the other 4.70. My guess is things are so tightly bunched at the moment that, assuming ten or fewer reviews, one set of perfect scores will bump you into the top ten.

I think it would be good to have the top 5 scores shown - then people would know what they need to aim for (if they want to get into the top 5, that is, I know some people don't care about all that).
