Hi All,
I published a book with YWO sometime back now and I would like to publish this as a Kindle book.
I notice that Amazon have expanded Kindle now to allow world wide users to and I would like to take advantage of this by publishing my YWO book with them.
So, can I do this? I assume as the copy-write of the YWO book remains mine I should be allowed, but thought it best to check here first.
Also, has anyone any experience of using the Amazon DTP service?

Hi Random Yes, you can do it it. Lots of us have. I'm a bit stuck at the moment, though. I've done everything they asked and it's been accepted but not 'gone live' yet. My problem is that when I uploaded my book, (same as I sent to publisher) it comes out messed up. Mostly the fancy fonts for the title and images. If you need any help before you get to the upload, drop me a line. Anyone know how to upload my book so it keeps all the correct formatting, please?

Regarding formatting, you could have a look at the formatting guide available for free at: www.smashwords.com Hope you are keeping well and writing up a storm? Sincerely,

Hi Lucy,
Good to hear that many of you have done this, any one have any examples that are live yet?
Also, when you uploaded the document, was there a way to check if the formatting was correct?

Also by the same YouTube author is a quick video on how to format a document prior to uploading:

Lot's of videos on here to be honest covering many aspects of Amazon Kindle stuff. Doesn't look so scary now!

Paul I've just published on Kindle - see my book here: RemixI turned the text into HTML with Mobipocket, then tinkered with any bits whose formatting showed up wrong in the Preview.
