Quote: rinkytink, Sunday, 14 Feb 2010 20:45In an open later to former Smiths front man Morrisey, the head of Faber & Faber grovels, fawns, implores, begs, tempts & pretty much shows himself up in an attempt to get Morrisey to publish his "memoirs" via F & F. An interesting case of role reversal but quite astonishing-Morrisey is surely a niche market & his early life is likely to consist of of got up;had cup of tea;when to dole office; another cup of tea; went to the cemetery; went home; went to bed & other stuff in that vein. Is this the first case of its kind I wonder & will Ben Stone (I think it was he) be disappointed?
I would guess that what the head of Faber & Faber really wants is for Morrisey to discuss his sexuality.
And since he won't, he'll just have to keep singing songs to earn a living.
