Hi folks. Just wanted to say I'm new here - like as of today - and perhaps I shouldn't be posting anything but I was refered to this site by a fellow writer on a myspace writer's page. She, Slavandria, posted a bulletin stating she posted her 1st 2 chapters here and to come by for a visit and leave comments.

Guys, I really completely enjoyed these two chapters she has posted and I am just not saying this. Storm Constantine is my favorite author and I sincerely believe that Slavandria's writings are right up there with Storm. Not the same as Storm but the feeling I get is the same. Piddlesticks is quick moving, the characters are alive and engaging. She has tapped into all of my senses. I think the humor between the knight and his squire is priceless. I am not sure what the other reviewers were speaking of when they said there was all that 'purple prose'. I don't see any. Perhaps she has rewritten the chapters since her first 2 reviews.

I think the synopsis needs to be tightened a little and I can tell from reading the synopsis, the crux of the story really begins in Chapter 3 and will tie into the way the story begins. It is the way of so many fantasy novels.

Anyway, if you get a chance, check out Piddlesticks and Dreams. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I look forward to reading other's works and maybe even posting a few blurbs of my own. Good luck to all of you.

Hi Fantasyreader60! I am not sure who you are but thank you for that shameless plug. I can use all that I can get. You honor me too much by liking my writing to Storm's. She is one of my faves, as well. Needless to say, I floated for a moment before I had to bring myself back down to earth. It was a very nice thing you said.

I don't remember chatting with you on myspace. Perhaps I haven't. Which writer's group are you in? Leave a comment on my page, ok?

Oh, and welcome to youwriteon.com. I hope to read some of your writings soon.
