I was looking for somewhere to write this, I hope you don't mind me muscling on your thread. Well done Andrew Wrigley, a first and a second has to be congratulated even though I don't know you. You must be on cloud nine. I will read your work and look out for your prof reviews, looking for inspiration. I am sure I will gain a lot of understanding from reading a winner.

Cool, a pincer movement. Well done Andrew, you've put a lot of work in to get this - well deserved and a first too, place one and two at the same time.

I believe I FW'd one and haven't read the other so made no contribution to your march to triumph. So consider this me throwing you a ticker tape parade.
"A,B&E", "Not In My Name" and "52FF" (flash fiction anthology) all available on Amazon Kindle"How a psychopath makes sweet love. I can get you ringside. Royal box even."

Congrats Andrew. Pomposity levels have dropped significantly just lately on YWO. Can't you give us a blast for old times sake?

Having just survived open heart surgery, my pomposity levels are down a notch. The nurses are doing their best to lift it back up, but the danger is that my potassium levels plummet again. This is no joke, as I, like most homo sapiens, go stark raving bonkers when low on potassium. Morphine hallucinations were disappointing. Just shadows streaming across the wall and if I closed my eyes the brightest, most vivid images streaming in my mind's eye. Enthralling but not able to stop them. That should be enough to chew on. I am now trying to get acquainted with my new valve. It feels like an arranged marriage still, not quite ticking along in harmony.

Had a feeling something was amiss. Hope it all works out for you. Sounds like you're surging right back up to top form, but maybe a touch less pompous. There's nothing wrong with being who you are anyway. keep on rockin kid!

Came to this thread to bow down with some well-deserved 'I'm not worthy' nonsense. But I discover I am truly out of your league. All the best, heal well and quickly. Sleep lots and rest now that you've clinched both the number one and two slot. Congratulations.
