I haven't had an assignment for some time. Not sure what the problem is and would appreciate some advice. I have gone onto the FAQ's and followed the suggestions. Still nothing. I have changed genres etc. I think the writing is reasonably good but I wonder whether the premise is the problem or even the title. My book is about dreams which can be a turn-off to some but my previous book about dreams Dream 3319 didn't have this problem.

I would be grateful for any feed-back and suggestions. If my blurb is the problem please let me know.

Thanks

I'm sure it's just the fact that it's quiet atm. Nothing wrong with the blurb as far as I'm concerned. I should have time to do a free will over the next few days if you're up for that. Let me know.

I think it is just very quiet at the moment. I've been waiting 5 days and counting. I've had a look at your writing and it all looks good to me. I won't do a free will because I think that bars me from an assignment on it. Hang on in there. All the best Adrian.

Assignments are very slow right now. I actually reached the top ten. Wowee, i thought, although that was not the reason I came on here, it's still a boost when it happens. then a week with no assignments, and I have plunged to 18. ah well, what will be will be!

Oh! I thought that I was the only one experiencing this! I haven't had a review in over a week! And I've been falling steadily from No.22 to No. 27.

I was actually getting quite paranoid over my lack of reviews, considering the activity on the site over the last several months since NBA. But, at least its given me the time to continue my own review and revising Chapter 2.

Now back to the A4!

If I were to be truthful, I'd have to say that my inclination would be that anyone with a book on the Bestseller Chart List has pinned what people want and needs a lot less feedback from the site than those who have not yet been published to such success and for whom these free sites are a welcome boon.
Perhaps this is unjust, but that accolade suggests feedback should be sought from one's agent or publisher,

'published to such success'?? Something in the Bestseller Chart List doesn't mean it's published - simply that it's spent a good portion of its time in the top ten. And most top tenners are still trying to improve their work, hence the continuing need for reviews. Usually the people in the Best Seller charts have no publisher or agent to ask ...

Thank you for clearing that up, willow55. Silly of me to assume that anything described as being on a BestSeller chart list would be by merit of sales. Perhaps a new name for the chart might be considered to prevent such erroneously literal perceptions. I would not think twice about reviewing a "top tenner". Pretensions can be counter-productive. Thanks again.

Yes, hadn't thought of it before but it is a bit misleading. Maybe it should be the Bestscorers Chart not the Bestsellers!
