YouWriteOn Updates - 17th May

Good Afternoon. New Updates have been uploaded this morning. Please report any teething problems with the new updates below.

1) New shorter sign-up process for new members.

2) Members are now either Writer Members or Reader Members.

Reader Members are those who have not uploaded a story and they can do free will reviews only.

Writers Members are those who have have uploaded a story and they can do Assignment Reviews. Writer members receive the YouWriteOn Guide to Constructive Reviewing before they complete their first reading assignment.

3) Every member has a My Writer Page and a My Reader Page. The My Writer page is to upload their own stories, and to do assignment reviews. The My Reader page if for reading pleasure alone, and is mainly for reader members. This includes a bookmark function for stories readers have recently visited that they may wish to free will review.

4) Reviews Programming on site as follows via My Writer pages: Review the Reading Assignments you have requested promptly and the system gives you a much higher opportunity to have your own story assigned and reviewed. Writers who don’t review or remove Reading Assignments promptly within the time limits receive a lot less opportunity for reviews in the system.

5) Remove Review function update should be implemented next week.

I'm a bit confused. How is my work on the charts on my Writer page? I'm lost.

Hi Tabby. I've noticed the change. But it'll be a miracle for me to break the top 10/20 charts with new stories and revisions. I'm not too profilic.

Sorry, don't know what happened there but I appear to be shouting.

Tabby? Anybody? What's this about being able to go straight to the 11-20 charts? You click somewhere to see them? It's Sunday, I'm sleepy, right? Miaow.
