Hi Everyone. Please can I give my latest picture book a plug. It's an action song book with songs like Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes in Welsh. It's available on Amazon, Waterstones and W.H.Smith websites. W.H. Smiths have stocked three of the books I've illustrated in their shops and so have Waterstones. So please, if you see this latest book, can you put it somewhere it can be noticed.

I'm updating and altering my website at the moment, but you can see more of my work at LindaWebbern.com

Wow! That's great, Linda. What a lovely eye-catching cover. I'm half Welsh, but don't speak the lingo, only Welsh isms - I'll do it now in a minute and won't come now, sure to - as mum passed early in my childhood. I hope it does really well for you.

Great news
Gwenda

Keeper of the Enchanted Pool by Lucy Fox, is available now from all major book retailers.

I blog a little, too.

Thanks Gwenda. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will sell well, so the commissions keep coming in! Most illustration work is paid by a flat fee. So it's the amount of sales that will encourage a publisher to offer the illustrator another contract. Unfortunately, I can't speak fluent Welsh either, just enough to follow a conversation. Otherwise I'd be contacting every school in the area to go in and talk to the children.

I hope those who are publishing with YWO will show us their covers and add some information about their books. In this business, with millions of books to choose from, you have to help with your own publicity. Linda
