You need to address question 2 in The Travellers' Inn.

You ask which crow is being talked to - there are no crows being talked to - it is Door with whom the pre-opening conversation takes place.

Same thing happened to me. I just guessed at the answer and luckily got it right.

Hey Perry, read your review of Traveller's Rest and thought it was really thorough. Don't suppose you fancy swapping a free will do you? I'm in need of someone to give me a really critical review. And I've just done a big re-write. Would really appreciate your thoughts.

Why thank you, and ... done, Mo. Though it was a struggle to be too critical.

In haste....

Gosh, thank you so much Perry - spot on with your comments on Chapter 3 (actually the first thing I ever wrote, so it was excellent to hear you say it needed "lifting" in the same way as Ch1 and 2 - I completely agree ... subconsciousnly knew it...) Your other points of clarity and some of the clunkier phrases were excellent too - just what I needed.

Also, you're a darling for the words of encouragement!

I realised after I posted this missive to you, that it was a bit naughty to have put you on the spot like that!

What would you like me to look at of yours?

THANK YOU!

I did not know that this function existed on youwriteon.com - I've just stumbled upon it - Door and Mr Perkins are talking about Pinky the Crow - and it's The Travellers' Rest - not inn. Thank for your time...XX..

Mark

The only reference to crows per se is

"To the east, a murder of crows flapped about a field."

The only reference to the "Pinky" to which you allude is:

"‘I reckon Pinks is out and about causing trouble again,’ said Mr Perkins, pointing at the empty nest across the track."

IN NO WAY IS HE IDENTIFIED AS A CROW. Considering the variety of feathered fauna we have even in our world he could be anything from a sparrow to a shrike.

And again - your question refers to a crow being talked TO, not ABOUT.

If you want to play guessing games in your Reading Test, or seek out psychics, that's up to you. Pardon me for being helpful and whether it's rest or inn is immaterial to me.
The point was valid.

I was giving you a heads up.

You might try actually reading your own story - and thanks for yours.
