Hi, I am new to this website and have just been given my first reading assignment. I have spent over an hour trying to work out how to access it but have had no luck so far. What am I not seeing/doing?

If you go to 'my page' it should be on there. Then you just click on the title, go to the page, read sample chapters and then review. That's what I remember. Hope I'm right.

Sorry, I am not making any progress here. Can I download this reading assignment and print later? If so, how? I don't have a printer at home and the deadline for completing the assignment is fast approaching. Can anyone help please?

I'm sorry, I don't quite know where you are in the process. From what I can see on your book statistics you have one reading credit anyway which would suggest that you've done a review.

If not, can you actually see the reading assignment? If you can, you can highlight all and copy and paste onto an email to print later. I could have completely misunderstood where you are on this.

If you don't mind reading on the screen, that is your best option. A quick tip - write your review in Word (or similar) and paste it into the review box. Occasionally you get logged out mid-review and this saves losing it altogether.

the long and the short of it

I can't even see the reading assignment on screen. This is so frustrating because i wanted to spend the next few days doing some serious work on reading assignments and I have made NO progress at all. I would like to read the assignment on screen because I don't have a printer. If you, or anyone, can help with a step-by-step guide of how to do this I would be so grateful.

It may be that the text has not uploaded properly. This does sometimes happen. What's the title of the assignment? I'll have a look and see if I can see it.

Beth

Edit: Assuming the text IS there, you click on the assignment title on your page, then click on 'read sample chapters'. Hope that helps.

The Assignment title is A Small Death by Liz Wharton. I have followed all your instructions (I hope) and still cannot access this title. If you could help, that would be great.

hi, there is no text there, presume author has made an error. It happens occasionally, maybe author doesn't even realise it. Suggest removing that one on your home page and picking another assignment.
