Sir, even though alas, you are gone, I have not forgotten that you assigned me the task of writing a short story. Here it is, attached as a word doc.

Well, it's probably "flash fiction" because it's not very long - less than 900 words which is amazing in itself. I could not figure out why anyone would want to write anything that was so short. Short...well, you know.

While I was at it, I thought I may as well experiment with first person. The genre is comedy, chicklit. I hope you like it. It's called "Wannabe." I dedicated it to Sulcus.

You're dedicating a comedy chicklit to me?

Comedy & chicklit probably shouldn't be in the same sentence... Ever

I know I'm not here, but not even my dear wife Helen gets to call me Andy.

Harrumph.

In exchange for soliloquy ideas, I will publish the attached under my account.

And I didn't shoot Woody. He collapsed and died. 3am New Years day.

Are you an Irishman from Kemare? My Andy doesn't have a wife, of course, not even an imaginary one. I never call you Andy anyway. You're just not an Andy, AFAIK. What do you mean, "soliloquy ideas"?

To be or not to be, that is the choice, not the question.

Anything I say on these forums can be used by anyone. However they chose.

I like the honest burglar, works as a short, but your call.

I'm not from Kenmare and I'm not Irish. I did work in Ireland for a number of years, but not anymore.
