Completed reading assignement, pasted, posted, passed the reading test, but got no credit for my efforts-I tried to post this on the help forum which is moderated so no luck there-this is the first case of moderation I have come across on YWO.

Has this ever happened to any one else and is there anything I can do apart from contact Ted?

Hi rinkytink, all you can do is email Ted. I seem to remember this happening to me a long time ago. The system does occasionally work in mysterious ways. However, it is very rare in my experience, so are you sure you haven't spent more credits than you thought?

Thx Karen, at the moment I'm doing the odd review and assigning the odd credit to follow in chapters-I had nothing assigned, nothing in the bank so I did a review with the intention of crediting my follow ons. I'm not being particularly anal about it, just not being very active at the moment. So long as it's not a reflection on my reviews........

Happened to me last month. Contacted Ted received the credit a few days later.

Did you find out who'd taken it? I have actually had phantom credits awarded before, but have never (to my knowledge) missed out on one because of a review. I suspect those phantom credits have become unstuck somehow & attached themselves to other people's account. The only other possiblity is that Ted's been at the sherry and his hand has slipped.

It didn't occur to me that it might have gone to someone else. I didn't receive any phantom credits but saw posts from a few members about it during the NBA hoopla - when I took a break from giving and receiving reviews.

Ted at the sherry? Well, it is Christmas...
