Has anyone heard from Ted in the last month? I ask this only because it’s more than a month since I’ve had a reply. If it’s time-related as Mostar suggests (thanks), it seemed Ted had more time when the Next Big Author thingy was in full swing. Re Perry’s reply (thanks), I maybe should’ve explained what Ted means by ‘corrupted’. You know your account is corrupted when, craving constructive feedback or just a 5-star rating (depending on who you are), you try to spend a credit to get a review & the credit won’t transfer, not under any circumstances or after any length of time, via any computer or browser (tho a sign always pops up that says sorry, there was a problem & to please try again later). Of course, it takes many hours to establish conclusively that no amount of trying again is ever going to fix the problem, but once that’s apparent, you know all your credits (all that time you spent – if you do spend time) are worth nothing. Nil. Zip. Nada. So far, I know of four others besides me to whom this has happened (two reports directly & two second-hand), & none of them were newbies – but once it happens, the only option is to set up a new account & wait for Ted to reimburse you. Has anyone heard of anyone having been reimbursed yet? And does anyone (any tech heads?) know why an account might suddenly become corrupted? Because the data so far suggests it could happen to anyone on this site, at any time, after an undefined while…

Hi Shane, I've heard from Ted in the last couple of days. He's catching up with his email back-log I guess as that one was about the all German assignment I asked him to chase up a few weeks ago. I hope you hear soon as It's so frustrating to have all those credits sitting there doing nothing. Like I told you in my email, poor Brian L has over 100 he can't use! Yikes.
