Hi! I don't have Kindle (I am very embarrassed to say) but I did read the sample on Amazon. I enjoyed your writing. The situation, cultural and personal, for Manasa and her family is very moving and engaging. It seems you've really done your homework into the caste system and how women are treated, and I certainly felt for the sisters. The complex relationship between Kajal, Patap and Manasa, for me, was the most interesting aspect. Well done. Thank you for the free read. It is very nice of you to put out for us all to see. Best Wishes, Bill

Hi Bill,
I'm glad you enjoyed Sari Caste. It is in paperback on Amazon too.
I'd like to read yours. It's a bit pricey, if you don't mind my saying so. Is it coming out in paperback?
Will take another look. It's very late now.

Hello Bill, Gosh I was exhausted last night. I really should have waited until this morning to post you a message. I didn't realise how tired I was until I closed my pc and went up to bed. Your book is clearly a very valuable book and has lots to offer. I didn't mean to imply anything else. It's just that unless the reader is, say, someone who loves reading history or finds themselves really fascinated by the topic you cover, £19.99 is quite a bit to part with these days. Nobody has much in their purse to play with it seems. I just wondered if you might be also getting your book out in paperback for the others who would buy it if it was less costly. Your book is a quality book and you've put lots of work and dedication into it. It certainly shows and covers a little known part of history. The price reflects this. I hope you do very well. You deserve to. With very best wishes, Catherine

The book will be out in hardback and various ebooks in December, and then in paperback about six months later. But, I wasn't posting about my book. I was praising the section of yours that I read. Best Wishes, Bill

Best Wishes, Bill That's amazing to have your book in so many formats. It gives you so many more chances of selling it and for people to read it. The reason I asked about paperback, to begin with, was that I thought it would be great to read it and then I saw it was more expensive than the usual price I pay for books. Then I went on to think about marketing your book and then I felt a bit annoyed with myself. You've just had this wonderful thing happen and I'm saying it's a bit pricey! I felt I should have been more upbeat and not raced on to think about marketing immediately. It's probably because I've been marketing my own books and have been thinking quite a bit about that. Anyway, you've definitely thought this out very well and I'm sure you'll do well with sales. It's a book that will appeal and it has a wonderfully attractive cover. I wish you all the very best with it. Keep writing and enjoying it. Thanks for the kind comments on Sari Caste. It's so good to have positive feedback. Best wishes, Bill. Catherine.
