If you are visiting the Edinburgh International Book Festival this year, drop into the Book Tent and look out for The Testament of Mariam, published by YWO. I have a shelf all to myself in the Publishing Scotland section, displaying The Testament of Mariam and two of my Random House books: The Anniversary and The Travellers. They're also to be found in the fiction section. I'm not doing an event this year (though I have in the past), but when I was offered space in the Book Tent, I jumped at the chance. The Edinburgh International Book Festival is the largest and most prestigious in the world, attracting more than 200,000 visitors from all over the world. Let's hope at least one buys Mariam!

Congratulations, no mean feat to make it inside the Book tent.

Thanks, Marc. Keep your fingers crossed! I've also provided free postcards, showing the book cover.

Thanks, Andy! I like your kenning. Clearly you've caught the kenning bug.

Congratulations! Well done, Ann. I must get myself along. Usually get to several events and/or workshops but missed out this year at the booking stage. Will go along especially to look at your books... and I'll take my purse!

Bless you, Christine! And you need to stand around talking loudly about this amazing book, so lots of people can hear you . . .

Do let me know what you think of it.

Two friends of mine are going (lucky things) and have strict instructions to stand at the entrance to the book tent and talk about Mariam in glowing terms and very loud voices.
