Here's the link to the fantastic news. http://www.literarydundee.co.uk/bookprize.htmQuote: The Dundee International Book Prize has established itself as the UK's premier prize for emerging novelists. Its £10,000 cash award together with publication by Birlinn Ltd, publishers of the Polygon imprint, make The Dundee International Book Prize highly valued by tomorrow's great new writers seeking to break into the publishing world. The award, now running for the sixth time, is for an unpublished novel on any theme and in any genre . Confirms what every sensible person always knew - Jane has the talent. She really does.

Well done, Jane. You are indeed one of the most talented writers I've ever read. I remember being totally blown away by your short story 'Tied'. If it's still on YWO, I recommend that everyone reads it.

Jane,
I recall reading (and reviewing) 'Modall' and liking it a lot.
Good on you. The 'Dundee' is one of the better prizes, imo. We still do some things well in Scotland.
Best of luck.
