"Coastlines

After reading the author's disclaimer that the story was not polished I fully expected to find some very sloppy writing Much to my surprise the chapters I read were anything but sloppy. I am not the world's greatest reviewer, but I would not hesitate to recommend this story. It moved along at a good pace, and I could clearly see the characters and relate to the story.

I especially liked some of the descriptive phrases: the dustbowl of poverty ... the reference to the cord that held her in the world, that kept her from falling back into the land of her ancestors ..."

Synopsis
A Spanish civil servant plans to build a Chinese car factory to help save his home town.
