okay Christmas Day.

Present from 14 year old daughter:

extra large sweat shirt with a blue smurf and NERD in huge bright yellow letters.

How we laughed. She ain’t going out for a year, at least.

The gift of laughter to all there, papa stas. How generous.

My mother (bless her) bought me some microwave bags for Christmas. She was so proud of herself. "They're re-usable. It means you can use them more than once."

I haven't used them yet. I'm saving them for a special occasion. Maybe when she comes to lunch next time.
I deleted my sig.

I met a woman today who told me about her mother-in-law's habit of collecting up the gifts from inside the crackers at the end of the family Christmas dinner. Little photo frames, plastic bracelets and such like. Even little Santa mementos.

She wrapped them up and gave them as family birthday presents throughout the year.

Very resourceful I say.
