I have just joined the site. My first Children's book was self published on 29th November. 'The Adventures of Bedtime Bear and Cuddles' is available at Wigan Waterstones, their website, WHSmith website and Amazon.

My local Waterstones has been very supportive. I had my first book signing this month which went really well. I thought the letter from Chambers literary agency was a bit suspect. I'm glad I've found this site.

My book has been well received locally, children love the story and there's more in this series. I'm looking for an agent but each one I've contacted say they receive over 300 manuscripts per week! I've got my own website, www.bedtimebearandcuddles.com. Trying to market the book myself but it seems you do need an agent to reach more people. Any suggestions?
