Hi I am hoping to self publish in the next couple of months, and therefore need a good book cover. If anyone has any details on a good book designer, please can you leave their details.
Also if anyone has a rough idea of pricing, that would be helpful too.

Thanks
Victoria.

A guy who's a member here did the cover for my kids' book. You can see it at thefairytalequest.com. He was very reasonable and quick, and also did my interior illustrations. If you want his email address to get a quote, feel free to email me.

I recently had a thread on book covers, it may be of some help:

Hi Victoria, I can highly recommend the guy who designed my book covers. He is patient to a fault, and changes his designs time and time again until you are delighted with the result. He lives in Canada, and charges around $20 which he works extremely hard for. If you want me to ask him to get in touch with you to discuss, just give me your email address. Best of luck!

All three of my novel covers were designed by Jane Dixon Smith, editor of WWJ e zine, to my own brief and at a most reasonable cost. You can see them on my page against each of the uploads. For a clearer view, click on the links and see them on my Amazon Kindle pages. For further info regards costs etc, drop Jane a line at janedixonsmith@gmail.com. Tell her Pam sent you!

Can highly recommend Clare from Salt Studio. She designed my first two books, bookmarks, press releases, advertisements for specialist mags... everything.

Have a look at The Stumpwork Robe and The Last Stitch. She's currently designing the cover of A Thousand Glass Flowers due for release in September and Gisborne, due for release at Christmas.
