Bloomsbury plans post Potter

Bloomsbury is anticipating the end of the Harry Potter goldmine by channeling funds from its £53.5m cash pot into non-fiction acquisitions and ebooks.

Major publishers have steered away from ebooks in recent years, but it will be of interest to follow this story to see if the new breed of ebooks will make this a more accessible medium for readers and publishers alike in the future.

That's great that there's a big pot of money, but why non-fiction, when they've just had such success with fiction?

Maybe the e-books will be fiction...

Non-fictions really big at mo I read but they'll always be a spot for a great bit of fiction
