Clue is: Gun dogs 3,3

Asked everyone I know and no one can work it out. It's driving me potty.

Sadly, no, Tim.

Just found bow wow as slang for gun in my Wordsworth thesaurus of slang.

You still get a gold star and a virtual drink for effort though.

Cheers

I demand a recount.

pom pom is a type of dog and there is such a thing as a pom pom gun. Fancy a wager with a FW as the prize?

Oh, poop! Bet you're right.

Mind you, it was a while ago in the Evening Standard so we may never know.

I'll try to find out on their website - if they have one. If not, we'll swop free wills, shall we?

Sounds good to me - hope to be posting a new short towards the end of the month. If you can't find out we'll call it a draw, eh?

Actually, I think a pom pom is the bobble on top of a knitted hat, is it not? The larger version of which pom pom girls or cheerleaders use. I've heard of a pomeranian dog, but never that it's called a pom pom.

Knickers! Think you're right, Tim. Thought I was soooo clever, too.

I owe you a free will. Which story?

Actually, doing a free will of one of yours is more like a win than a lose, so I'm happy!

Oops! SUCH a slow typist! Let me know when it's posted, Tim.

Googled both and it seems it's a gun and another name for a Pomeranian. I thought it was just a bobble too.
