Hi, guys - haven't been around for a while; too busy with books & such.

My problem - for which I'd like any advice you may have - is that I have some successful books but don't know how to get them in front of a publisher, apart from going through an agent - tried that already...

Over the past few years, I have presented to 7,300 Key Stage Two children at primary schools and at these presentations I have sold 4,300 (self-published) books.

My sales have doubled each year for four years, and in this school term alone I have sold 1,500 books at schools.

It's a good result, but I would like a publisher to notice it. Any ideas?

Thanks

They won't be interested in books already in print - no large sales left in those books to their eyes. You will just have to go beating down doors of agents specialising in YA/schools market and demonstrate your ability to sell to readers as evidenced by your sales figures. But you also need to demonstrate the famed author's platform. Do you have a web presence? There are some very good YA authors with great presence. Suggest you check out Nicola Morgan's blog - lots of helpful advice to writers there: http://helpineedapublisher.blogspot.com/ She is a YA author
"A,B&E", "Not In My Name" and "52FF" (flash fiction anthology) all available on Amazon Kindle
