Congratulations on The Butterfly and the Wheel reaching no 1, Neil. And I much prefer the title, although I have no idea what it means, to The Fraud.

Good luck with it. Sue

From wiki:

Hear, hear is an expression used as a short, repeated form of hear him, hear him. It represents a listener's agreement with the point being made by a speaker. It is often incorrectly spelled "here here".

I learn something new every day. I thought it was here, here too, Pam. You're not alone. I think I wrote it somewhere here just the other day. Good grief, what else am I writing/saying that's wrong?

Thanks for that, Nick. I'm glad I'm not the only one, Denna. I honestly though it was here, here. Like you say, you learn something new every day.

You have to say it in a deep and pompous voice, like a fat old Tory, or it has no meaning whatsoever.

And the meaning it DOES have is "I agree with what's being said, so any right thinking person will be appalled."

Now you see it's as clear as daylight, but I always thought it meant- I'm here, too, sort of thing!
