Title : A Red Sky in Morning

Author : NA Randall

Genre : Literary Fiction

Review Extract from review By: Jillall

I thoroughly enjoyed what I read. I thought it was well written, the characters and dialogue beautifully drawn. One problem however. Without reading the synopsis, I found it difficult to work out who the character at the beginning was and how he relates to Mark Parker. Also whether the two events were happening at the same time? It may just be me, and it may become more evident as the story progresses, but I had to keep going back to the previous chapters to see if I’d missed something.

... I wish you all the best with this.

Synopsis
A small rural community is torn apart following the closure of an RAF base. The story is told by two characters in alternating chapters - an art historian returning to hs birth village after a long absence, and a partrotic local man who's brother was disabled in the last Gulf war (see one-page synopsis)
